AUTOCAD DRAFTER

Sunset Air, INC has an immediate job opening for an AutoCAD Drafter.

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining Sunset Air commercial CAD project designs. This includes, generating designs using CAD, performing engineering calculations using industry software, and creating documentation for mechanical systems permit submittal. This position is responsible for maintaining company CAD standards and ensuring standards are in compliance with National CAD standards and updating and maintaining CAD blocks and details. Complete CAD as built drawings from the field as well as archiving as built drawings. This position requires communication with Engineers, Project Managers and Construction Foreman regarding project changes, progress and scheduling.

Qualifications:
– Knowledge and experience drafting and design in AutoCAD
– Completion or current enrollment in AutoCAD/ Drafting education program
– Experience working in the construction industry preferred
– The ability to work independently with little supervision and a drive and willingness to learn
